How long have you been surfing?
Summer of 2019 - so 4 years.
Favorite Surf Spots?
Ive only surfed Santa Cruz, Malibu, and Bo. I like them all. A-lot.
What kind of surfboard/s are you riding?
I only have 1 board in my quiver and it’s a 9’2” Woodin Cheater Club Model. I’m working on getting more…
What music/bands are you listening to nowadays?
I grew up listening to reggae and still do but now I’m lazy, and like letting other people do the discovery for me. Kind of listening to anything that makes me groove at the moment.
What is your favorite food/s?
I love my mom’s homemade meals but I can ALWAYS go for a burrito and some açai (has to be authentic though).
If you could go back in time, what era would it be, and where would you go?
Back to you when I was a kid again. Not really sure why, but I have good memories of my innocent youth.

If you could sit down with anyone to have a 60-minute conversation, who would it be and why?
Bob Marley. He was my hero growing up and still is. I think meeting him would make me a better person.

Tell us something about yourself that not many people know?
I still live with my parents (only because I am a broke graduate student).
Favorite quote:
“If you don’t want to date me, that’s fine, I get that, but you’re wrong and I hate you” -Adam Demamp (Workaholics), Season 2 Episode 3.
Anything else you want to tell us?
From the age of 16 I wanted to learn to surf. I watched videos and all the WSL contests, but having come from Rio, my mom would NEVER let me get in the water, which is why I began doing surf photography. It was a compromise with her to shoot shorebreak (definitely not safer) in order to still get in the water, but not be too “deep”. For 10 years I did photography and loved it until my housemates in Santa Cruz forced me to surf. The day they pushed me into a wave (summer of 2019) I was hooked, and my camera has been collecting dust on the shelf since.
